Prehistoric Park

Had a really fun time on this TV series for ITV. One of several shows I did with Impossible Pictures - this one was basically Walking with Dinosaurs meets Jurassic Park.

This is from the final episode when a newly acquired feathered raptor triggers total pandemonium in the park.

An exploding spaceship!

I'm a bit obsessed with pure geometric dynamics in cinema. This animatic is just two shots. Initially I started drawing them to set up a crazy action scene in space I want to board, but then I got sucked into animating the panels. Sometimes I can't resist trying to capture that all-important thing called movement. It's what the 'movies' are all about after all.
